If you have never heard of Smarter Everyday, Destin does a wonderful job of addressing technical topics in an approachable manner. Most of these are aimed at our youth, students, and just those who are interested in engineering and technology, especially aerospace and defense.But, his latest is a brilliant address to the leadership of the Artemis program and NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. It's long, but serious, insightful and I strongly recommend you take the 65n minutes out of one of your coming days to watch this. The lessons he talks about are insightful and applicable for every technology industry and level of management. It's something we should all take to heart.

It's a pleasant surprise to receive messages like the one from Salman Sheikh , a NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration engineer with 33 years of experience 🚀"TerosHDL is a great tool. It has made my work in designing FPGAs for instruments for NASA easier. I haven’t learned all of them but the documentation features alone are great because that can be the least fun part of the design process. I am learning how to use the other features and plan to port my current design to it and use it for my future designs."Will we see the FPGA designs for NASA's next mission developed with TerosHDL?

NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's FLUTE Project is making headway. 💪🔭WHAT IT IS: FLUTE is the foundational technology which will allow space agencies and companies to build giant telescopic mirrors/lenses in space. Current on-ground manufacturing limits most telescopic lenses to 33 ft. in diameter—even the famous James Webb Telescope encountered challenges at only 21 ft. Using this technology, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and Technion are aiming to build one that's 164 ft. in diameter, 8x larger than James Webb. 👏🤯➡️Back in December 2021 and November 2022, FLUTE was tested on G-Force One! The first time was for testing the formation of free-standing liquid lenses from synthetic oils of different viscosities. The other time was to conduct a series of experiments focused on creating liquid mirrors rather than lenses, which was done using ionic liquids and an alloy of gallium. We’re making sure that as we explore and tackle the biggest challenges facing aviation, we’re providing benefits for all,” said Bob Pearce, associate administrator for #NASA’s Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate. “By presenting #aeronautics information and #educational #materials in #Spanish, we’re working to foster a diverse, bold and effective next generation of explorers. The whole point of education is to teach students to apply the knowledge outside of the classroom. The practicality of the concepts learned in school must be addressed and the opportunity to apply these concepts must be given in the classroom in order to make practical application outside the classroom walls possible.
